ABSTRACT
In all major cities, two of the basic tasks in getting from A to B, in an urban road network, are becoming more and more difficult for the single driver:
(a) finding an appropriate route from A to B knowing that the shortest one is not necessarily the best in terms of travel time,
(b) leaving the car near the destination (somewhere cheap, legal and safe).
