ABSTRACT
One of the current objectives in the design of future armoured reconnaissance vehicles is to reduce the profile of such vehicles. The advantages of this is that vehicles become more unobtrusive, with lower visual, radar, acoustic and thermal signatures. Another advantage is a substantial reduction in weight, thereby increasing the vehicle’s agility and freedom of movement and increasing the ease of transportation by air.
