ABSTRACT
The majority of Royal Mail delivery staff carry mail in a delivery bag either on foot or on a cycle. A typical delivery walk would take around 2 hours, with the bag loaded to a maximum of 16 kg. The delivery bag was redesigned to reduce damage to mail by rain and to make it more comfortable to carry.
