ABSTRACT
This paper reports on the research work that has been carried out in utilisation of such standards to provide integrated software platforms under which a number of CAD/CAM software products can operate. In the next section of the paper, the project background and software packages used for the integration work are outlined, and in section 4 an overview of the ISO 10303-series standard is given. Section 5, describes the use of these standards in the integration/interfacing work.
