ABSTRACT
Resin Transfer Moulding (RTM) has previously been envisaged as a solution to the mass production of composite material components. However, the characteristics of the process are such that many manufacturers using RTM utilise a large amount of manual labour at various stages. With recent advances in the automation of the technology, increasing levels of production are becoming a reality.
