ABSTRACT
Research on the integration of GIS into the secondary school geography curriculum has been ongoing for two years at Wilfrid Laurier University. In particular, the GIS Certificate Program has provided an opportunity to evaluate the status of GIS in secondary education and to develop and evaluate a model curriculum for the integration of GIS into the geography classroom.
