ABSTRACT

Hopefully, the chapters in this book have succeeded in bringing some of the exciting world of GIS to both the teacher and the pupil. Together the contents of this book have offered a brief look at GIS. This has ranged from the simple practical manual approaches to the more complex approaches making use of software, based upon the practical experience of various individuals, many of whom are from a teaching or educational background with a new view on the use and value of spatial or geographical data and information.
