ABSTRACT
The calculation of such optical elements via the methods of ray-tracing optics [52] disregard the light wave diffraction in free space. The methods of digital holography [92] enable the synthesis of a hologram which will form the desired wavefront in the first diffraction order, thus reducing the energy efficiency of the optical element.
