ABSTRACT
This chapter describes the co-operative work within two teams of a command and control unit, i.e. a military staff unit at battalion level which has the task of ensuring that its company units can control the enemy forces. Its work is to plan and transmit orders to its subordinates and artillery units, and also to have an overall picture of the situation at the front in order to be able to direct and co-ordinate action between troops and com panies, as well as forecasting what the enemy will do next and how best to utilize its own forces both at the present moment and in the near future.
