ABSTRACT
When someone says they have performed regression analysis this usually conjures up visions of estimated regression coefficients, residual plots, etc., which have been obtained by fitting a linear model to a set of data. This is certainly one aspect of regression analysis. However, there are many other topics which also merit inclusion under this broad heading. This text focuses on a particular collection of such topics generally referred to as nonparametric regression.
