ABSTRACT
The change organization is responsible for handling and controlling all engineering documents in your company as well as for managing the engineering change processing system. The title of this organization will be entirely up to your company, but some of the current titles in industry today are as follows: engineering document control, engineering change administration, configuration management, configuration control, and so on. The author prefers configuration management as it encompasses all of the configuration elements by definition.
