ABSTRACT
I. INTRODUCTION In recent years, the filtering problem has received much attention as a new approach to robust filtering [1-7]. The Hoo filtering problem is to find a state estimator such that the maximum energy in the estimation error over all possible noise disturbance trajectories is less than a prescribed bound y. The filtering with Hoo criterion is appropriate when there exists a significant uncertainty in the statistics of the noise disturbance.
