ABSTRACT
The subject of this book is computational fluid dynamics (CFD), specifically in industrial combustion systems. It is important to define what is and what is not meant by industrial combustion. Here, it refers to fossil fuel combustion for processing materials in the following industries:
• Ferrous metals production including ironmaking and steelmaking • Non-ferrous metals production including aluminum, copper, brass, lead, zinc, etc.
