ABSTRACT
This chapter describes some examples of commercial web data and information management products. We group them into various catego ries such as database systems, data mining, and knowledge manage ment. As stated earlier, all of the information on these products has been obtained from published material as well as from vendor product literature. Since commercial technology is advancing rapidly, the status of these products as described here may not be current. Again, our purpose is to give an overview of what has been out there recently and not the details of these products.
