ABSTRACT
The proliferation of information, particularly in the computer industry, has made information more accessible and more vulnerable. At the same time, the general public has become more aware of computer control weaknesses as issues of personal privacy, computer fraud and legislation, and national security predominate in the news. The next section of this book will discuss the current laws affecting the security of computer systems and the information that is contained in them.
