Qualitative Analysis of Analog Hopfield-Type Neural Networks: Global Results

In the present chapter we first conduct a qualitative analysis of the generalized analog Hopfield neural network model, (2.4.1), presented in Section 2.4. Since the conventional analog Hopfield neural network model is a special case of this class of networks, the results of the present chapter pertain to the conventional Hopfield neural network, presented in Section 2.2, as well. Next, we conduct a qualitative analysis of the analog Hopfield neural network model with infinite gain amplifiers, (2.5.1), developed in Section 2.5.
