ABSTRACT
The control structure for this piantwide system contains some unusual control loops that handle the problems of (1) balancing component inventories and fresh feed addition rates, (2) maintaining product purities of the three streams leaving the process and (3) providing a large recycle stream to maintain the desired yield.
