Leaving the choice of components and the resulting performance totally in the hands of an installer is a risky business and should only be contemplated by those looking for a very undemanding network at the absolute lowest price. However, do not forget the ongoing cost of ownership when things start to go wrong. Many surveys point out that more than half of all network faults are cable related.
