ABSTRACT
In the present chapter, the properties of the vectorial and paired representations of two-dimensional images are described, when analyzing images and performing over them both local operations (addition, multiplication by constant, masking) and global operations (discrete Fourier, Hadamard transformations, cyclic convolution et al.).
