ABSTRACT
When looking at the work of designing effective, efficient fastening systems and assembly procedures, perhaps no application or service presents more of a challenge than those subject to dynamic loading. These loads can be periodic or continuously changing in frequency and amplitude. The engineering mechanics are much less straightforward in their analysis.
