ABSTRACT
All of the pulmonary function tests discussed above are usually available in any standard PFT lab and are usually sufficient to answer most questions regarding lung function. There are other tests, however, that may provide additional valuable information. Four of these tests-airways resistance, lung compliance, bronchial challenge, and exercise testingare discussed briefly below.
