ABSTRACT
In northern climates with occasional temperature drops to -30°F, most metallic fasteners will function satisfactorily. However, with prolonged exposures to subzero environments, such as those experienced in Arctic regions, the prudent designer should give careful attention to the selection of the fastener material.
