ABSTRACT
In conditions where creep is significant and cavitational damage interacts with the growing crack, the AK value does not correlate well with the crack growth rate. The alternative approach, introducing a net stress amplitude, is only partly applica ble, due to its inherent dependence on specimen type. The modified / integrals are the most accepted concepts (Koterazawa and Mori, 1977).
