ABSTRACT

We shall be working on a fixed o--finite measure space X ,with measure simply denoted by dx.For f measurable on X, we shall write:ll/llp = Ux lf(x)IPdx)11P, for 1 ~ p < oo, whereas 11/lloo will stand for the essential supremum of lf(x)l over X. We shall denote by LP the usual Lebesgue space formed by those f (actually, equivalent classes modulo functions vanishing almost everywhere) for which 11/llp < oo.
