ABSTRACT
THE CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT (C/M) ARRANGEMENT: The owner has a fee basis contract with the architect /engineer for the engineering and a fee basis contract with the construction management firm for the jobsite management. The field w o r k is a l l subcontracted to specialty subcontractors. These subcontracts are let by the construction manager as agent for the owner. The actual subcontracts are between the owner and the subcontractor.
