ABSTRACT
In order to plan for improvement of quality or the process, it is first necessary to understand the manufacturing, staff or service process. Flow charting is a simple yet highly effective way to do this. Flow charting is nothing more than a chart constructed of either pictures or symbols that delineate, step by step, the process we wish to understand.
