ABSTRACT

Records of a finn's continuous surveillance of quality, from conception to consumer, provide numerous items, of feedback information. These data require careful analysis, evaluation, and summary in a form easily understood by management, supervision, and production workers. This information feedback thus serves as an impetus and guide for corrective action as regards materials, process, and products wherever there is such need. The overall quality performance of business operations should also improve; and these, too, should be monitored in terms of a feedback network.
