ABSTRACT
I. INTRODUCTION This chapter is an introduction to electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) imaging with an emphasis on the approaches that have been used and the types of sample to which the technique has been applied. Comprehensive treatments and complete sets of literature citations can be found in Refs. 1-7. For the benefit of readers who are not familiar with EPR, a brief introduction to the principles of EPR is given in Section II. The emphasis is on the aspects of EPR that impact the way that imaging experiments are performed.
