ABSTRACT
I. INTRODUCTION Nature has many built in checks and balances to maintain a healthy environment. But the in dustrial growth of the past two centuries has been adversely affecting this balance. Thus, there is an urgent need to regulate our environment-polluting activities before irreversible damage is done to the environment.
