ABSTRACT
The basic raw materials for the composite are phenolic as resin, which can be in powdered form or liquid form and glass fabric or glass fibers. Phenolic resin is formulated in two forms namely resoles and novolacs, both of which are widely used. The fiber, tow or fabric may be impregnated in advance of fabrication process or insitu at some time during the process. The resin-fiber/fabric forms include following procedures:
1. Insitu impregnation of the fabric-fiber as the component is fabricated.
