ABSTRACT
Each design, fabrication, assembly, and test step in the complex IC fabrication process has the potential for introducing errors that can affect device quality and yield in a serial additive manner. Thus, it is important that quality workmanship procedures be incorporated in each phase of IC design and manufacture. No area is exempt.
