ABSTRACT

Let factor A be agricultural implements with four levels a,, a2, a,, and a4. and factor B be the four tillage practices denoted by b,. b2, b4 and b4. The layout plan for this experiment with four replications is shown in Figure 25.1. The plots for levels of A and levels of B are fairly larger whereas for their interaction treatments, a, bj etc., the plot sizes are small. Thus, there are three different plot sizes, one for factor A, the second for factor B, and the third for their interaction. Since there are three different plot sizes involved in this design, we get three different experimental errors called Error (a). Er ror (b), and Error (c), respectively.
