ABSTRACT
Considering that organizations around the world have continually used TWI for over 60 years, one could say that it has been the most influential training program the world has ever seen. Why is a program that was created over 6 decades ago still in use today while not being substantially changed in all those years? There are two main reasons. The first is that TWI uses basic training material making it timeless in its practicality. The second is that the training material is immediately applicable and usable-it’s not just academic and certainly not theoretical in its approach to training people. Let’s take a closer look at these two important characteristics.
