ABSTRACT
The key to a successful total productive maintenance program is not the actual maintenance activities. Sustaining an effective program depends on everything that supports those activities: collection of accurate data, scorecards that show the significance of the data, clearly defined responsibilities for everyone involved, and procedures that provide for ongoing support of TPM efforts.
