ABSTRACT

CHAPTER 11 The core of this chapter is formulated as the Laws of Ergodynamics. The first law describes the situation where the considered system settles down in a steady state of ergodynamic equilibrium: maximum energy input and least specific entropy production. Translated to exergy: capture as much exergy as possible from the exergy input (from solar radiation) and utilise this exergy input as efficiently as possible, relative to the size of the structure to be maintained, as the input is limited. It agrees with the conclusions in Chapters 9, 10, 12, 13, and 14, although the author of this chapter has used other "tools" to reach the same conclusions.
