ABSTRACT
Selecting the proper respirator for the job, the hazard, and the worker is very important, as is thorough training in the use and limitations o f respi rators. Compliance with O S H A ’s Respiratory Standard and ensuring safe confined space entry begins with having written procedures covering all applicable aspects o f respiratory protection. This chapter presents a sam ple written respiratory protection program; again, this sample program has been used for several years and has proven its worth and effective ness.
