There are a few regional differences. The main consideration is differences in noodle consumption. U dan is favored in the South, while so b a is preferred in the North. Religious considerations are about meat and alcohol use; the latter is not allowed in the Buddhist persuasion. Other differences are minor, such as the shape of rice cakes or their color.
