ABSTRACT
In 1980, Cooper presented the general methodology for computing the available safe egress time fiom an enclosure subject to a hostile fire [6]. In 1982, Cooper and Stroup presented a computer program and user's guide for the equations presented earlier by Cooper. The model was named ASET, an acronym for Available Safe Egress Time [35].
