ABSTRACT
The performance features and design recommendations for MCASP plants given in the following are based on the experiences from four experimental plants during operation with municipal wastewater from combined sewer systems. The investigations occurred at MLSS between 5 and 50 g/L and at BOD 5 sludge loads between 0.004 and 0.18 kg BOD5/(kg MLSS-d). The temperatures varied between 8 and 38°C.
