ABSTRACT
In order for the weed scientists to develop effective and economic recommendations for solving the multitude of weed problems in agricultural and non-agricultural systems, he or she must generate valid and reliable data from scientifically conducted field, greenhouse and laboratory research. Accurate and valid data are also essential for registration of a new herbicide compound for commercial use.
