ABSTRACT

Rhizome woody, branched. Stems 15^45 cm tall, many, erect, simple, rarely branched. Leaves subsessile, linear, 2-4 cm long, 1-3 mm broad, without awn at tip, glabrous, smooth-edged, margin generally somewhat involuted. Flowers 3-6 together, on short peduncles emerging from leaf axils, forming compact, sometimes lax in lower part, inflorescence one-sided. Bracts linear, without awn. Calyx pubescent along nerves and margin of teeth; teeth acuteangled, without cusp. Corolla blue-lilac, twice longer than calyx.
