I've learned you must truly believe in a positive outcome before your behavior will make that positive outcome possible. Beliefs precede behavior. Let me tell a true story to prove my point.

When Portal's buyers phoned their suppliers to buy more materials, some suppliers were able to adjust their schedules and some were not. Whether a supplier could or couldn't adjust their schedule depended on production runs, retooling costs and raw material availability.
