Least Cost Routing Carriers OK, I admit th it this is my own classification, but it has relevance, so I am going to use my license as an author, and define this space. It is really a mod ification of what used to be called a “ reseller” . The basic concept is to set up a switch, billing software and a provisioning system that will allow the reseller to connect to carriers with networks and to resell their destinations. Callback companies are essentially resellers, with a specialized access method. They connect to one or more facilities-based carriers and offer their destinations, obviously marking up the cost for the routes in the process.
