ABSTRACT

Have you ever noticed that if you pick any old saying, you can usually find another one that contradicts it? For example, consider, “A fool and his money are soon parted,” versus “Penny wise, pound foolish.” How about, “Fools rush in where angels fear to tread” versus “He who hesitates is lost.”
