ABSTRACT
Digital things are very modern and trendy, but humans are still basically analog devices. When I was a kid, there was no such thing as a digital watch. When the old-fashioned LED watches appeared, it seemed it would spell the end of teaching kids about the big hand and the little hand. The LCD display, with its lower power requirements and more pleasing appearance, seemed an even surer winner.
