ABSTRACT
Examples will also be given of products, services, societal practices, or processes that have been found in dire need of innovation-what doesn't work, doesn't work well, or what ought to be done in a totally different way. What will be shown here will be a list of problems that need solutions, rather than solutions to problems. The main thesis is that innovative creativity from today's engineers for today's problems can bring innovative products, services, societal practices, and processes today, not tomorrow-but only if we innovate for today.
