A feasibility study generally is performed in order to determine which of several major options is best. Factors considered typically include type of project involved, owner guidelines and job constraints, the equipment's ability to meet estimated performance requirements, economics, other potential benefits and problem areas, ease of maintenance and operation, size and weight, and building codes, among others.
