ABSTRACT
Most buildings are equipped with space cooling systems. Almost all of these systems are electric, and their influence on a building's electrical demand can be costly. Owners of the buildings involved are seeking methods to reduce these expenses without compromising comfort. Cool storage technology is being applied continually more to do just that, helping to improve utilities' load shapes at the same time.
