ABSTRACT
In addition to the concrete vessel, a second level of containment is provided to reduce still further the level of any possible radioactive leakage. This consists of the auxiliary building and a steel-framed enclosure over the concrete containment vessel. This volume would be sealed and maintained under a slight vacuum in the event of serious incident and would serve to collect, and by filtration remove, any radioactive material that might penetrate the primary containment.
