ABSTRACT

An extension of a real generalized function with one real variable (Chapters 1 and 3) is to take an ordinary function as the variable or argument (Section 5.1), for example, the unit jump (Subsection 5.1.1) [impulse (Subsection 5.1.2)] and their derivatives (Subsection 5.1.3). ¡e derivative of the unit jump of an ordinary function is related to the unit impulse of the same function (Subsection 5.1.4).
